BriefCASE (Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education) Institutes are short intense professional development sessions. SGE is a specialization-level module in the Mechanical Systems in Agriculture series. The module provides technical application to mechanical systems, using small gas engines as the instruction tool.

SGE BriefCASE will be held at Owatonna High School, Owatonna, Minnesota. These SGE session will be for all FEMALE agricultural and CTE educators. Attendees will receive access to the full curriculum and free updates too.

Event Details:

• Date and Location: June 27-29, 2023, at Owatonna High School, 1455 SE 18th St., Owatonna, MN 55060.
• Orientation: Thursday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.
• Hotel Accommodations: Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, 130 Allan Ave., Owatonna, MN 55060. Click the above link or call 507-455-9295 for reservations (mention CASE SGE for the hotel block). Average nightly rate: $115.00 plus tax. Amenities include free WiFi, free hot breakfast, indoor heated pool, 24-hour business center, and guest laundry. The hotel block will be held until June 5, 2024.

  • 5:00 pm – BriefCASE training ends
• Friday, June 28 – Owatonna High School:
  • 8:00 am – 5:00 pm – BriefCASE training
• Saturday, June 29 – Owatonna High School:
  • 8:00 am to 12:00 pm – BriefCASE training

Registration and Cost: The registration cost for this WOMEN ONLY SGE BriefCASE Institute is $800.00, covering daily lunch, snacks, supplies, and necessary materials. Interested participants can register HERE, to secure their spot and take advantage of this unique learning opportunity.

Cancellation Policy

• Full registration refund for cancellations before April 30.
• $50 cancellation fee incurred for cancellations received later than April 30 but more than 30-days from the start date.
• $200 cancellation fee incurred for cancellations received within 30-days from the start date or participant is a no-show. 
• Payment must be received before class begins.
• If payment is not received 5 days prior to class, participant will be dropped.
