*Developing your farm transition goals and assembling your “team”
*Wills, trusts, ownership titling—what does it all mean?
*All things tax: gifting, selling, and transferring
*Putting the basics together: estate, retirement, healthcare, and business transfer planning
2024 Multi-Generational Farm Transition Retreat
Join us for hands-on planning and discussion for the farm family! All generations actively
involved in the farm should attend the retreat together, including spouses, partners and/or
other relevant parties. Pick the location most convenient for your family for this FREE event.
Attend to dive deeper into conversations about: family and business goals, job responsibilities, financial needs of farms and families, inheritance considerations, and mechanisms of transfer.
The workshop will be in three locations:
Mankato – Friday, February 23: 5pm – 8:30pm & Saturday, February 24: 8:30am – 4:00pm
St. Cloud – Friday, March 8: 5pm – 8:30pm & Saturday, March 9: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Crookston – Friday, March 31: 5pm – 8:30pm & Saturday, April 1: 8:30am – 4:00pm
